Patrick “Pat” Burgess, 30, of Nashville, TN, passed away on August 12, 2025. Born on February 8, 1995, Pat was a beloved son, fiancé, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched everyone he met.

Patrick is survived by his mother, Anna Kenney (Brett); father, Joe Burgess (Leshia); fiancée, Mallory Himsl; sister, Megan Gunno (John); brother, Dustin Kirby; grandmother, Barbara Jarrell; uncle, Steve Burgess; aunt, Peggy Howe (Ron); aunt, Marybeth Winter; nieces, Khloe Kirby and Ariana Gunno; nephews, Charlie Gunno and Oliver Gunno; and his loyal dog, Xena. He was preceded in death by loved ones who now welcome him home.

A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, Patrick served his country with honor before building a successful career as an industrial mechanic. Beyond his work, he was a talented guitar player whose passion for music was matched only by his devotion to his family and friends.

Pat’s hobbies always revolved around music, but his true gift was the way he gave of himself. He was caring, loving, loyal, hardworking, and truly sunshine in human form. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a laugh, or simply being present, Pat made life brighter for those around him.
