Judy Carolyn McCoy

Judy Carolyn McCoy- Age 75, of Dickson, and formerly of West Nashville, received her gift of eternal life on Friday, December 12, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth McCoy; sons Kenneth McCoy, Jr. and James Ray McCoy, Sr.; grandson, Phillip Marion Ray McCoy; her parents, James and Ruth Dison; and sister, Paulette Null.

She is survived by daughter, Lisa McCoy Thompson; son, Shane (Tereasa) McCoy; her grandchildren, Bo McCoy, Andy Lee McCoy, Tiffanie McCoy, Jeremy McCoy, Daniel McCoy, Kenny Severs, Travis Tidwell, Logan Tidwell, and Joseph McCoy, Jr. and a host of great grandchildren; daughter in law, Jessi McCoy;  her sister, Linda Stephens; brother, Larry Dison; her beloved dog, “Trouble”; and a host of extended family members and friends.

She was a devout woman of faith and a longtime member of West Nashville Church of God, spending the last 13 years at Bellshire Assembly. Judy was a prayer warrior and loved her family dearly.

The funeral service to honor Judy’s life is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 1:00 pm, at Western Hills Church, located at 7565 Charlotte Pike, with Brad Carlisle and Pastor Nate Kelleher officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. The active pallbearers will be Kenny Severs, Travis Tidwell, Logan Tidwell, James “Bo” McCoy, Andy Lee McCoy, and Jeremy McCoy. The honorary pallbearers will be Joseph McCoy, Jr., and James McCoy, III.
