Michael Scott Dozier- Age 48, of Nashville, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at St. Thomas West Hospital. He was born on September 14, 1977, in Nashville, TN. He is preceded in death by his wife, April Dozier; father, Robert David Dozier; grandparents, Amos and Dorothy Brown, and Norman “Buck” and Frances Dozier; and nephew, Christopher Dozier.

He is survived by his children, Shelby Dozier, Jacob Dozier, and Miranda “Randi” Dozier; his mother, Connie Dozier; brothers, Robert David Dozier, Jr., and Andrew Dozier; sister, Aimee (Antonio) Jones; and his niece, Emma Ausbrooks.

Michael graduated from Hillwood High School in 1996. He worked for Kroger, Gaylord Opryland Security, and Mapco. He was a member of Pasquo Church of Christ. He was in Boy Scouts Troop 87. He was an avid Alabama football fan. He was a great father and enjoyed spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:30 am, at Pasquo Church of Christ, located at 8363 Hwy 100, with Marc Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. The pallbearers will be Robert Dozier, Jr., Jacob Dozier, Andy Dozier, Antonio Jones, Bob Brown, and Vic Lineweaver.

Visitation with the Dozier family will be on Tuesday, January 20th, from 9:30 am until the service time at 11:30 am, all at Pasquo Church of Christ.

  3. Randi was my daughter’s first real friend. She was the reason we decided to move to McPherson. It was so funny. She met Willow the day we were just looking at the place and sign the lease. Over our time there we built memories around you and your family. Like core memories. Thank you for being a part of that. You raised some really good kids.
