In Loving Memory of Deborah Carol
Stuard Berrelleza
December 25, 1951 – January 24, 2026

Deborah Carol Stuard Berrelleza, a spiritual woman of artistry and adventure, passed away during a winter storm in Nashville, Tennessee, on January 24, 2026.

Born on Christmas Day in 1951 to Norma Jean Jackson and Burton Wesley Stuard, Deborah’s journey began in Springfield, Tennessee. Her early years near Broadway Street in Nashville placed her at the vibrant heart of country music’s golden era—a setting that sparked a lifelong love for storytelling and travel.

Deborah was truly multifaceted. A romantic and an artist at heart, she found beauty in the world as a florist and grit as a ranch hand. Throughout her life, she also applied her talents to real estate, property management, and sales. Her adventurous spirit took her to live all over the United States, including Florida, Texas, Arizona, California, Georgia, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

Her passion for horses led her to drive stagecoaches out West and live among peaceful horse paddocks in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Her curiosity even led her across the globe to Turkey and south of the border to Mexico. While in her 30s, she mastered the Spanish language, developing a profound and lasting love for Latin culture and cuisine.

Central to her life was her devotion to her faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her beliefs provided a foundation of strength and hope throughout her many travels and life’s transitions.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Norma Jean and Burton, and her beloved
baby brother, Bobby. She is survived by her siblings: Eddy and Melanie. Her legacy lives on through her four children: Robert, Laura, David, and Aaron. She also leaves behind her nieces—Rachel,
Casandra, Nicole, and Renee—as well as three cherished grandchildren: Katie, Itzel, and Lucas.

Deborah lived a life as vast as the landscapes she traveled. She will be remembered for her love of flowers and horses, her connection to the earth, and the romantic, faithful spirit that guided her through every chapter of her journey.
