Amanda "Mandy" Jane Harris

Amanda “Mandy” Jane Harris was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth and radiant smile brightened every room she entered. She was born in Changi, Singapore to Gweneth and Squadron Leader Frederick Craig of the Royal Air Force.

Mandy met her husband, Frederick “Freddie” Harris, at the Crown Pub in Cirencester, England; a meeting made memorable when he accidentally spilled a glass of wine on her. They shared 43 devoted years of marriage filled with travel, laughter, and deep love for family.

Mandy believed that life’s greatest treasures were experiences and time spent with loved ones. For much of her career, she served as an office manager at Cabot Physical Therapy in Arkansas, where she was known for her kindness and professionalism.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick Harris; her son Craig Harris (ret. U.S. Coast Guard) of Jacksonville, Florida, his wife Kimberly, and granddaughter Isla; and her son Dr. Scott Harris and his partner Thomas Caballero of Nashville, Tennessee. She is also survived by her brothers, Stuart Craig of Sydney, Australia, and Geoffrey Craig of Scotland, as well as many nieces and a nephew spread across the world. Mandy was predeceased by her beloved sister, Joan.

Honoring her wishes, Mandy was cremated, and her remains will be scattered in the Cotswolds, England. A celebration of life will be held this summer.
