Sabrina “Bree” Harrington, age 55, passed away on February 10, 2026, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She graduated from Hillwood High School in 1989 and then attended Nashville State Community College from 1989 to 1991. She received her Medical Assistant license from Hi-Tech Institute and worked at St. Thomas as a medical assistant from 2006 to 2008. She spent most of her life as a member, and later an officer, at the Moose Lodge. Bree loved fast cars, shopping, mystery books, and the ID Channel.  She will be remembered most for her radiant smile and unforgettable laugh- the kind that lit up any room she was in. She was the best friend to many due to her loyal and generous nature. Her kindness was rare and one of a kind. The love she gave so freely will be carried forward by all who knew her.

Bree was preceded in death by her mother, Joane Spann; her father, Curtis Spann; and her nieces, Lyndsey Garretson and Astin Spann.

She is survived by her loving husband, John David Harrington; her children, who meant the world to her, Lyndsey and Adam Barnard; her step children, Sylvia Harrington Stiles and John David Harrington III; her sisters, Diane Coggins and Cyndie (Faron) Gainey; her brother, Curtis Spann; her nephews, Paul (Anna) Pruitt, Jordan Gainey, and James Spann; and her Nieces, Mallory (Chris) Law, Jamie (Joe) Carmack, Nicole Spann, Katie Berrelleza, and a host of great nieces and nephews.
