Frances A. Parker

Frances A. Parker- Age 84, of West Nashville, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at St. Thomas West Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Allgood (Bobby); grandchildren, Jason Hickman (Jennie), Jeremy Hickman, Kimberly Beasley, Derek Hickman (Carrie), and Keith Allgood (Kayla); 17 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Dill, and Joann Leatherman (Bobby); brother; Russell Dill (Ann); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances is preceded in death by her father, James Robert Dill and mother, Jennette Dill; daughters, Janice Hickman, Peggy Martin; brothers, Steve Dill, Douglas Dill, Larry Dill; and sister, Joyce Wise.

Frances dedicated much of her life to the food industry, working at Sylvan Park Restaurant and Jay’s Family Restaurant, among others, until she was 82 years young. Over the years, she proudly held every position imaginable — from management to server and everything in between — always bringing dedication, warmth, and a strong work ethic to each role. She was truly kindhearted, loving her family and friends deeply and never hesitating to help anyone in need. Frances found joy in life’s simple pleasures—especially reading a good book and spending quiet hours working on jigsaw puzzles. She cherished her beloved cats, Rudy Poo and Lady Bug, who brought her constant companionship and comfort. She will be missed dearly by them, and by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, located at 6833 Old Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209, with her bother-in-law, Bobby Leatherman, officiating.  Burial to follow at Harpeth Hill Memory Gardens.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday prior to the service at Charlotte Heights Church of Christ from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
