Robert “Bob” Giannone
February 22, 1954 – February 26, 2026
Robert “Bob” Giannone, age 72, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, just days after celebrating his 72nd birthday.
Born on February 22, 1954, Bob lived a life marked by faith, adventure, and a remarkable ability to connect with others. Bob had a truly amazing ability and willingness to share his love of God’s Word and did so with just about everyone he met. A dedicated business owner, he took great pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way. He loved to travel and explore new places, always eager for the next adventure. Whether meeting someone for the first time or greeting a lifelong friend, Bob had a natural gift for conversation and could truly talk with anyone. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years, attaining the rank of Dental Technician Third Class (DT3). His time in the Navy reflected the discipline, commitment, and strength that defined his character throughout his life.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Laura Giannone.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maggie Powell; his sister, Kate Ondrasik; his daughters, Christine Dowdell and Megan Allan; and his son, Philip Giannone. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to five cherished grandchildren—Luke, Laura, Jackson, Ava and Austin—who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
Bob will be remembered for his steady presence, generous heart, and unwavering love for his Heavenly Father and family. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the values he instilled.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, with a reception to follow at Rutledge West.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Bob’s honor be made to The Orchard Community Church (https://www.theorchardcc.org/live-oak) in Live Oak, FL or The Way International (https://www.theway.org/)
