Peggy A. Clouse- Age 84, of West Nashville, passed from this life on Monday evening, April 27, 2026, at her residence.
She is preceded in by parents, Elmer and Eva Inman; sisters, Joyce Perry, Maxine McCord, and Brenda Crowson; brother-in-law, Herman Crowson; grandson, Clifton Clouse; special nephew, Elmer Thorne; her niece, Judy Hutson; and her beloved husband, Gary L. Clouse, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Terry (Jimmy) Phipps, Kathy (Billy) Stinson, and Gary L. Clouse, Jr. “Butch” (Tracy); her grandchildren, Brandy and Blake Clouse, Michael Wayne Watson, Rachael Watson and David Watson, Jr.; great grandchildren, Mason Watson, Lilliana Watson, Alexis Hodges, Alyssa Spann, Alayna Spann, CJ Clouse, Kinzley Clouse, Grayson and Gavin Bracy; and a host of special nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Peggy attended Cohn High School, where she proudly represented her school as a majorette. Throughout her life, she was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother who put her family at the center of everything she did. She found joy in the simple pleasures, like planting flowers around her home in West Nashville, creating beauty wherever she went.
Peggy brought warmth and energy to every gathering—truly the life of every event she attended. Her kindness knew no bounds; she was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Peggy’s love and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
The celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:30AM, at Western Hills Church, located at 7565 Charlotte Pike with David Estes officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as the pallbearers.
Visitation with the Clouse family will precede the service on Friday from 9:00am until 11:30am, all at Western Hills Church.
