Donald Richard Littlefield

Donald Richard Littlefield (Richie) of East Nashville, Tennessee, age 54, entered into the presence of our Lord and received the fullness of eternal life on July 13, 2026.

Preceded in death by his Mother Edith Littlefield, Father Arlan Littlefield, and Sister Marilyn Henderson.

Richie is survived by devoted Wife Marianne Murphy-Littlefield; stepdaughters, Heather Owen (Bradley), Emily Garcia (Christian), and Whitney Owen, as well as three more stepchildren he loved dearly. He was a devoted and loving grandfather, affectionately known as “Pappy,” to Carter, Kynnedi, Mason, Lucas, Mateo, Gabriella (Gigi), Liam, and seven more grandchildren he loved dearly. Furthermore, he is survived by his sister Tammy Reynolds (Danny), as well as his brothers, Jeff Kendell and Doug (Linda) Gregory; brother in laws, Tracy (Lynn) Murphy, Billy (Tiffany) Murphy; and Stacy Murphy; devoted uncle in law, Cliff Polly, Sr., lovingly called “Unc” by Richie. He has many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends he loved dearly.

Richie passed from an extended battle with cancer that he fought until the very end.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at Vanderbilt Medical Center, especially Palliative Care Unit at Round Wing for their wonderful care and compassion.

A balloon release will be held at a later date.
