In Loving Memory of Jessie Long

Jessie Long, age 29, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Jessie will be remembered for the impact she made on the lives of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on through the love, kindness, and cherished moments she shared with those closest to her.

Jessie resided at West Meade Place, where she was deeply loved by her caregivers and staff. She formed many special bonds during her time there. Among her many favorites were Al, Pam, Connie, Cody, Tony, Irishma and Liz, whose love, care, and friendship meant so much to her.

Jessie was known for her vibrant personality and the joy she brought to others. One of her favorite pastimes was serving as the self-proclaimed “Head Nurse,” spending time in the hallway keeping an eye on things. She also loved FaceTiming her favorite family members, Tammy, Kim, Gina, Erin (and her sisters), Ashley, Janice and Rhonda, enjoying hot chicken, and listening to music.

She is survived by her brother, James Long, and her sister, Peggy Bentley.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, Tresea and Joe Long, and her brother, Joe Long Jr.

Jessie’s beautiful smile, loving spirit, and unforgettable presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of life will be held at West Meade Place (1000 Saint Luke Drive, Bellemeade, TN)  on Thursday September 24^th @ 2pm.
