Florence Marra Dougherty

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Florence Marra Dougherty, beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on October 3, 2026, at the age of 85.

Flo was born on February 10, 1941, in the Little Italy neighborhood of Wilmington, Delaware. She was immensely proud of her Italian heritage, but what she was most proud of was her family—especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Days spent with family, related or not, were her very favorite. Whether it was a small gathering or a huge, full-family celebration, Flo cherished every moment together. And once you were “family,” you were always family.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly (James) Bruck and Kimberly (Robert) Becker; her four grandchildren, Caty (Guy) Cherkesky, Olivia Bruck, Henry Becker, and Marra Becker; and her great-grandchildren, Vivian and Maya.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Rutledge West in Pegram, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alive Hospice in Flo’s honor.
