Charles Wesley Sonn, left peacefully March 23, 2026, in Clarksville, Tennessee at the age of 83. He is survived by his loving wife, Gwinda Sonn, his children  Jeffery, and Danny, his grandchildren Austin, Trey, Jacob, Carolyn, Charlie, Noah, Jack, Summer, Jeralyn, Dagan, Mikayla, and Bailey, his great grandchildren Scarlett, Piper, and Estelle and his daughter in laws, Cynthia and Cindy. He is preceded in death by both his parents, his in-laws, and his son Willy.

Charles was born on September 16, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland. He later married Gwinda, “MeMe”, and was a devoted family man. The two welcomed their 3 children into their life together, and even welcomed Willow, his puppy dog who loved each other dearly, into their lives. His family remembers him as a warm and loving man who prioritized family.

Charles proudly served in the Air Force for 26 years. During his life, he worked shortly as a salesman. He was a good salesman and could sell you the pen you were writing with. What helped in that ability was his welcoming character to everybody. His family knows he could make friends with a wall. A personable, and a sweetheart when he wanted to be, he was also a lover of golf, old westerns, and football. Though his family jokes that he only cheered for whoever was winning.
