Eden Juliette Hernandez
October 28, 2017 – April 22, 2025

With broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Eden Juliette Hernandez, who went to be with Jesus on April 22, 2025, at just seven years old.

Eden radiated joy. Full of energy, laughter, and light, she was a shining presence in every room she entered—especially in the hearts of her Mama and Papa. She was endlessly funny, full of life, and had a spark that made everyone around her feel loved and seen.

Eden was the treasured daughter of Emily and Nehemiah Hernandez, and the beloved little sister of Phoenix 12, Eleanor 10, and big sister to Saint, 2. She adored her siblings and loved being surrounded by her family. Eden was especially attached to her Mama’s hip and absolutely crazy about her Papa.

She loved playing soccer (jersey number 3!), creating art, dressing up in all things sparkly and girly, and spending time with her friends. Whether she was scoring a goal, painting a masterpiece, or singing in the shower at the top of her lungs, she lived every moment fully.

The Hernandez family treasures the memories of traveling together and the countless little moments filled with laughter, hugs, and love that Eden gave so freely.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Donelson Fellowship, located at 3210 McGavock Pike in Nashville. A celebration of Eden’s life will take place on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., also at The Donelson Fellowship, with a graveside service to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly asks for the gift of time—to grieve, to be together, and to heal. To help support the family in this difficult time, donations can be made via Venmo, @Emily-Hernandez-81 (last 4 digits of cell 2080). Eden will be missed beyond words and remembered forever with love. She was our sunshine, and her light will never fade.

  3. Coach, words leave me every time I begin to think of something to say. Elisa was deeply saddened to hear the passing of your beautiful Eden, she said she had so much fun getting to know her in such a short period of time. I am in disbelief she was taken from us so young, but may she be welcomed in the Kingdom of Heaven. All I can say is we collectively continue to pray for you, your kids, and your wife. You all are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. May God wrap you tight in his embrace.
