James Wesley Cheeves, Jr.   “Bubba” – Age 37, of West Nashville, passed from life on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville

He is preceded in death by his mother, Angela Williams; paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, and his uncles.

He is survived by his father, James Cheeves, Sr. and his sister, Jamie Leigh Cheeves; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Bubba loved his family dearly. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years and will be missed.

The funeral service to honor and celebrate Bubba’s life will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 1:00pm, at Western Hills Church, located at 7565 Charlotte Pike with David Estes officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Visitation with the Cheeves family will be on Monday prior to the service from 11:00 am until 1:00pm, all at Western Hills Church.
