James R. Morrison

James R. Morrison – Age 85, passed away September 23, 2025, surrounded by his family in Lebanon, TN.

Mr. Morrison is preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Marie Morrison, who passed early this year.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Morrison (Elaine), Vance Morrison, Eric Morrison (Renee) and Jeremy Morrison; grandchildren, Bryan Morrison, Brittany Morrison, Derrick Morrison, Rhiannon Morrison, Keira Morrison, Hunter (Keyley) Morrison, Phillip (Faith) Morrison; 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Jean Shell; and a host of extended family members and friends.

He was a proud retiree veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the John B. Garrett Masonic Lodge.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025, First Southern Methodist Church, located at 4409 Colorado Ave., Nashville, TN 37209 with Pastor Jack Davis officiating. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as the pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at First Southern Methodist Church.
