Jerry Wayne Stinson, 54, was taken home too soon on May 27th, 2025, in Nashville, TN.

Born on September 28th, 1970, in Nashville, TN, Jerry was the only son of Wilma Jo Coffelt & Horace Gerald Stinson. His entire life was spent where his roots were planted… right in West Nashville. Jerry had a love for cars, drag racing, and spent many of his years roofing homes and businesses. Jerry dabbled in mechanic work and carpentry here and there and even ran an entire bar at one point. Many loved Jerry for his ability to make others laugh and how to have a good time.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma; father, Horace; sister, Rita; and his two beloved nephews, Damian & Michael. He is survived by his daughter, Jerrianne; his sisters, Jaclyn & Tammy; his two nieces, Keyanna & Amanda; his nephew, Quenten, & many others.

Visitation with the Stinson family will be on Friday, June 6^th from 11AM until 12PM. The celebration of life will follow at 12PM, all at Western Hills Church of Christ, located at 7565 Charlotte Pike. The services are open to all who had the honor of knowing Jerry.

We’d also like to thank those who donated to help us carry out Jerry’s celebration of life.
