Joseph Scott Housley “Joey”- Age 39, of Nashville, passed from this life on Sunday, September 7, 2025. He was born on June 10, 1986, in Nashville.  Joey was a graduate of Franklin High School and worked as a vice president for his family’s company for the last several years.

He is preceded by death by his, paternal grandmother, Shirley Housley; uncles, Lee Housley & Joey Housley; maternal grandparents, Geraldine & Jimmy “Big Daddy” Proctor.

Joey is survived by his wife, Samara Fickes Housley; his children, Kenli Housley, Wesli Housley, and Luna Housley; parents, Lonnie and Donna Housley; his siblings, Erica Housley and Josh Housley; his nephew, Hudson Winter; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Joey was a music lover. He supported Tennessee Titans, even when they made him mad. He loved the outdoors and really enjoyed fishing. He attended Stephens Valley Church.

A celebration of Joey’s life will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 1:00PM, at Stephens Valley Church, located at 6000 Pasquo Road, with Rev. Jim Bachmann officiating. Visitation with the Housley family will be on Friday, September 12th from 11:00AM until the service time at 1:00PM, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Stephens Valley Church.
