Bueschen, step-father, Tony Bueschen, brother, Will Elliott, step-brother, Bo Bueschen, step-sister, Cate Bueschen, grandparents, John and Sandra Carpenter, aunts: Jodee Elliott Bowen, Stephanie Elliott, Beth Herron Carpenter, and Cathy S. Luke’s early education began at Franklin Road Academy, followed by graduation from Lipscomb Academy and he was a life-long member at Woodmont Christian Church.   He was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he earned a degree in Finance.   Although Luke held several jobs in the field of finance, politics was his true passion. At just 19, Luke became the youngest delegate ever elected to represent Tennessee at the Republican National Convention. He didn’t just dabble in politics—he dove in headfirst, working at the local, state, and federal levels with a fierce love for his city and a tireless drive to make it better. Whether rallying for a cause or lighting up a room with his signature grin, Luke was always the life of the party and a loyal friend to many.  Luke lived boldly, loved deeply, and never missed a chance to make his voice heard.  Luke’s energy and spirit will be forever missed by all of those who knew him.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Woodmont Christian Church at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 22, 2025.  In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Luke’s memory to Unbound to help fund the building of a home in Guatemala.  These gifts may be made through the Woodmont Christian website at www.woodmontchristian.org.  Contributions may also be made to Bethany Hills, the church camp that held a special place in his heart.  www.bethanyhills.org.
