Patrick “Pat” Burgess, 30, of Nashville, TN, passed away on August 12, 2025. Born on February 8, 1995, Pat was a beloved son, fiancé, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched everyone he met.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Anna Kenney (Brett); father, Joe Burgess (Leshia); fiancée, Mallory Himsl; sister, Megan Gunno (John); brother, Dustin Kirby; grandmother, Barbara Jarrell; uncle, Steve Burgess; aunt, Peggy Howe (Ron); aunt, Marybeth Winter; nieces, Khloe Kirby and Ariana Gunno; nephews, Charlie Gunno and Oliver Gunno; and his loyal dog, Xena. Such a fine young man. My heart is broken. Sending love out to everyone.
I will never forget the songs we made together and how we helped each other and some of our darkest hours and I consider you a reason I am alive today. I’m devastated. We didn’t get to reconnect. I just messaged you last month was really looking forward to seeing you again. I’ll forever regret that I didn’t make more of an effort to see you again. You’ll be dearly missed
