Paul was one of my students in the Neurodiagnostic program at Vanderbilt. He is remembered by myself and his classmates as a wonderful, modest person with a very kind heart. We want to extend our sympathy to his family and assure you of prayers for your peace.
Knowing Paul for the last two years, he always showed compassion and guidance. He was one of the first mentors at Vanderbilt who showed me the ins and outs. He will be greatly missed and blessed to have known him.
I eventually ended up in Ireland too, and it was amazing to see how much he had grown. We have kept in touch from time to time over the years.
I’m so sorry to hear how quickly this disease took him. Too young! But he was a faithful man, and I pray that his eternal life is a wonderful surprise.
I used to see Paul at daily Mass at St. Henry. He was a very devout person and always responded to my greeting with warmth. Then Paul made the Cursillo weekend, and that’s when I really got to know him. A calm and very perceptive man, he impressed me with his depp understanding of his faith.
