Richard G Hood

Richard G. Hood, 48, passed away on April 5, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Hood; his mother, Joyce Hood; and his sister, Carolyn Hood.

Richard will be deeply missed by his loving family, including his cousin Jason Deal and wife Tamika, Joy Webb and husband Keith, as well as many extended family members and friends who cherished him.

Richard was a man who truly loved the outdoors. He found joy in hunting, fishing, grilling, and camping, and he especially valued the time he spent surrounded by friends and family. Known as a great guy all around, Richard had a generous heart—he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved to have a good time, listen to music, and bring laughter and warmth to those around him.

His memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

Celebration of Life service will be healed on April 18, 2026, from 11:00am-2:00pm at Western Hills Church of Christ 7565 Charlotte Pike Nashville, TN 37209
