Frank James Kaiser

Frank James Kaiser, of Whetstone, Arizona, beloved husband, brother, and uncle, passed peacefully on June 10, 2023, surrounded by family. Frank was born June 8, 1977, in Carrollton, Missouri, and operated his own business, Rocking K Saddlery, where he made saddles, holsters, and other hand-crafted leather products. He enjoyed working with horses, weightlifting, cooking, and being around family and friends. Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Air National Guard, where he attained the rank of Staff Sargent and served in Afghanistan. Frank attended Madison Area Technical College and Upper Iowa University where he graduated with a bachelor's in criminal justice. Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Elnora Kaiser, father, James Kaiser, and brother James Weiher, of Mauston, Wisconsin. He is survived by husband Justin Harker, siblings Katrina (John) Mulhern, Rick (Trina) Weiher, Cindy Weiher, Melissa (Harry) Krips, Steven (Krystal) Kaiser, and Kassie Kaiser, and also by nieces and nephews Addison, Cody, Connor, Frankie, Jennifer, Lance, Morgan, Riley, and Stetson. Plans for a memorial gathering are pending. What a wonderful guy Frank was. I bought two beautiful handmade holsters from him. The quality and pride of workmanship was 2nd to none. He always took the time to correspond with me, be it email or picking up the phone for a chat. He was a great guy, a professional and a real American Cowboy. He will be missed.
Frank was a great person and artist. He’ll be missed.

I met Frank at the NVCAF in Des Moines where he showcased a saddle he made. Continued to follow him on FB. A wonderful talent that shall be missed. My sincere condolences to his husband and family. Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. Please know that Frank will walk beside you Justin, and the entire Kaiser family.
I did not see Frank often, but when I did he and Justin were always genuinely happy to meet and were great company. When they moved to Arizona I hoped to take a road trip there with my friends because I knew it would be a beautiful and fun visit.
Frank and I have known each other for pretty much our whole lives. He was one of those people who always brought a smile to your face. His generosity and sincere smile, always made him one of my favorite people. I often referred to him as my “forever neighbor” because as we grew into adults, somehow our paths in life seemed to intersect frequently. When I first moved to Madison and Milwaukee, low and behold, Frank was less than a mile away! There was a lot of comfort in knowing a true friend and one of my favorite people, was so close by. I am grateful for the memories I have with him. Rest peacefully dear friend, and know that I miss you greatly.
Looking back I would have to say that some of my most cherished memories as a child are those shared with Frank. Frank would get dropped off at my house and we would either go horseback riding or fishing for hours. He was my bud. If you had the privilege of knowing Frank, then consider yourself lucky. Frank was an amazing soul and he is missed dearly.
