Gary Dean Harris

Gary Dean Harris – Age 68, of Pleasant View, TN, departed this life on September 18, 2022, after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He is finally able to rest in peace. Dean leaves behind his partner of 13 years, Diane Garrison. He was born and raised in Ashland City, TN, by his parents, Jerry and Betty Jean (Binkley) Harris. After his mother’s passing, he was raised by his grandparents, Albertina and Clarence Binkley. Upon graduation of Cheatham County High School, he went on to become a contractor, and was a former employee of Genesco, in Nashville. He also leaves behind his brother, Wayne Chipper Russell; other siblings, Ricky, Ronnie, and Rex Boyd; and June McCormick. Dean loved wood crafting, gardening, and an animal lover. He would help anyone he could. A very loving man and friend to many; he will be missed. A private service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
