Michael P. Illobre
I am a native of Lebanon, Tennessee and knew from an early age that I was destined for helping people. Being raised in the Pentecostal church I was taught the value of being kind and compassionate which I truly feel prepared me for my career.
In 1998, I moved to Nashville just after graduating high school to attend mortuary college at John A. Gupton College. After successfully passing the Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards National Board Exam, I was granted my funeral director & embalmer’s license. I am also a certified crematory operator with almost 20 years’ experience working in a crematory.
When I am not helping families, I spend my leisure time with my own family and friends, as well as my furry companions, Gabby & Orzo. I am a true foodie at heart and enjoy anything culinary, cooking, baking, and trying out new local eateries. I am an avid True Crime fan and can also appreciate a good run after work to decompress from the day.
I have been a resident of West Nashville for over a decade and enjoy seeing the growth and development in our community.
Compassion is definitely the perfect name for Mr. Billy and Mr. Michael's service. These gentlemen are two of the most caring individuals, and this is greatly appreciated. Especially in the difficult time of dealing with the loss of a loved one. They took great care and detail in every aspect of the services they performed. they also took the extra step of help caring for our family emotionally. Our family is so very grateful for their help during such a hard moment in our life.
