Andrew Jarratt Wilson, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 35. He was born on November 20, 1988, to Carolyn Jarratt Wilson and the late David Michael Wilson, Sr in Nashville, Tennessee.

Drew, as he was affectionately known, leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He is survived by his devoted mother, Carolyn Jarratt Wilson; cherished son, Andrew Jarratt Wilson Jr.; caring brother, David Michael Wilson Jr. (Kristyn); and beloved nephews, Charlie and Maddox Wilson. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will deeply miss him.

In his lifetime, Drew touched the lives of many with his generous spirit and quick wit. He was known for his willingness to help others and his ability to make everyone around him laugh. Drew was a loving father, a precious son, and a devoted brother, whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Michael Wilson, Sr. and his grandparents, Betty Dihm Jarratt, Lawrence Jarratt, Harrison Wilson, and Carole Wilson, as well as his aunt Kathy Wilson and cousin, Mackenzie “Mackie” Smith.

A celebration of life will be held to honor Drew at Western Hills Church 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A private ceremony to lay him to rest, surrounded by family, will take place at a later date.

Drew’s departure from this world has left a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His laughter, kindness, and generosity will be cherished forever.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a memorial fund in Drew’s name that is being set up for his son, AJ Wilson.

“Though his smile is gone forever and his hand we cannot touch, we shall never lose sweet memories of the one we loved so much.”

    • Drew we grew up together just 1 street apart. You became my second brother. Then when Tony wane passed you made sure his daughter and I were ok. I’m going to miss you. You were a wonderful person and father. Heaven gained another angel 😇. Love you bubba.
