Anna Marie Ladd

anna marie ladd
Our beloved sister, Anna Marie Ladd, long time Donelson resident, passed away last Friday, January 14, 2022. Preceded in death by her Mother, Annie Laura Ladd (passed in August of 2021) and Father, Leslie Sneed Ladd, Sr. (passed April of 2008). She is survived by brothers, Leslie Sneed Ladd, Jr., and Mark (Cindi) Ladd and sister, Nancy Sawyer. Also, survived by loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and one great, great niece. Anna Marie had been almost a lifetime member of Pennington United Methodist Church. She would likely say that her best memories were of family and church family. She worked for the State of Tennessee in data entry and took disability retirement from there almost two decades ago. She graduated from McGavock High School. Having lived most of her adult life with her Mother and Father, she took on the role of caregiver for her Mother and saw to it that medicines and nutrition and other needs were met as our mother got older. She must have done a good job as Momma lived to be 94 years old. She had a generous spirit and was quick to laugh in her special way. A celebration of life will be Saturday, January 29, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until Noon, and a memorial service at Noon. Service and visitation will be at Pennington United Methodist Church, 2745 Pennington Bend Road, Nashville, TN 37214. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pennington United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice in Anna Marie's memory. • I am so very sorry to hear about Anna Marie passing away. She was a very lovely lady who definitely dedicated her life to her mother and family. I so enjoyed being able to visit her here during the time that she lived here at Cottage Place. A very lovely lady who will be highly missed. Sincerely, Molly
