The memorial service for Bradford G. Briskey will be held on Saturday, September 5, 11a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Waukegan, IL. A remembrance reception will precede the service from 10-11a.m. Born November 6, 1961, he died Tuesday, July 21, 2026. While Brad spent his multi-decade career in the logistics field, his passion shined with his love of the trombone and music. After achieving a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance at Illinois State University and Masters Degree in Music Composition & Performance at University of Illinois, he excelled at playing trombone across many genres throughout his life, most notably: jazz, musical theatre, klezmer, and symphony. Additionally, he enjoyed biking, cooking, golfing, and practicing his faith through Bible study. Brad is survived by his sister, Beth (Charles) Brickler, step-mother Karen Cranmer Briskey, step-brother Colin (Shannon) Cranmer, children Rachel (Marlania) Moreno-Briskey and Robin (Robz) Briskey, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Virginia Levitan Briskey and Robert Joseph Briskey, and his brother Robert John Briskey.
