February 16, 1979 ~ March 18, 2026

Resided in: Pegram, Tennessee

With heavy hearts, we remember Brent Stremel of Nashville, Tennessee, a devoted husband, proud father, and steady presence whose life, though far too short, was filled with meaning and connection.  Brent is survived by his beloved wife, Amanda, and their four children – Simon, Phillip, Matthew and Lillian – who were the center of his world.  He is also deeply missed by his mother, Susan Stremel, his brothers, Ryan (Erin) and Jason (Amanda) and their families, all of whom cherish him.  Brent was preceded in death by his father, Michael Stremel.

Brent worked hard in all he did and was known for his strong work ethic both at work and at home.  He was skilled in many areas, especially when it came to home repair and working on small engines.  Brent took pride in being someone who could fix just about anything.  He enjoyed being involved in his sons’ Boy Scout activities.  He also shared a passion for Formula 1 racing with his sons.  They rarely missed watching a race together and spent time every day discussing all aspects of the sport.  In addition to time with the boys, he loved having four-year old Lillian help him cook and bake.

Most importantly, Brent had an easy, genuine way about him.  He was fun-loving, naturally welcoming, and made friends wherever he went.  He carried a sense of adventure into everyday life.  He had a true gift for hospitality, creating a welcoming space wherever he was.  Whether in his home or among friends, Brent had a way of making people feel immediately at ease.  His warmth, openness, and genuine interest in others made everyone feel at home in his presence.
