Christopher "Chris" Alan Warren
November 24, 1966 ~ July 11, 2023
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved son, father, brother and friend on July 11, 2023. Chris was born on November 24 (Thanksgiving Day), 1966, at Millington Naval Hospital, Millington, Tn. He lived the majority of his life in Nashville and its environs. He started his own business, PoolManChris, which he later renamed Priority Pools when his son, Zachary A. Warren, entered the business with him. Left to mourn his loss is his father, Ronald C. Warren (Claudia) and his mother, Cheryl Chapman Pressgrove. He leaves his son, Zachary A. Warren, ex-wife Shelly Warren and his son, Zane Simeco. Chris’s siblings were Bronson and Bridgette Warren and Patrick (Heather) Pressgrove. Chris dearly loved his children. He also leaves his aunt, Debra O’Hare and his uncle and aunt, Lee and Paula Tucker. Chris also leaves to mourn many cousins and special friend, Jeff Allen, who he called his “brother”. Chris’s life was much too short. We will miss his zest for life and his teasing and laughter. The diseases of depression and addiction were a constant struggle throughout his life. However, when he was able to overcome them during periods of his life he never met a stranger and would reach out to help others, especially those fighting the same battles as his. A special thanks to his friend, Kirk P. Johnson; his uncle, Lee Tucker; and his cousin, Mike Hamner, for participating in his Memorial Services. Come help us celebrate his life on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Western Hills Church (Church of Christ) at 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, Tn. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12 noon with Memorial Service to follow. In lieu of flowers, send any remembrance to the Nashville Humane Association, at 213 Oceola Avenue, Nashville, Tn 37209.

Diane, it’s now one year later and some days still hard to realize I’ll never see him again in this life. Thank you for your prayers. Cheryl (his Mom)
I just heard the news and cannot possibly express how truly and utterly devastated and heartbroken I feel. I loved Chris and considered him more than an ex but truly one of my best friends. Heaven is lucky to have such a compassionate and loving Angel. I pray that Zach and Zane as well as Cheryl and the rest of his family are comforted in the knowledge that he struggles with his demons no more and is no doubt watching over them from Heaven every day. I love you, my forever friend! You will always live on in my heart where you take up such a huge chunk and always will.
Kim,
Thank you for your kind and sweet words. I’m just now a year later reading comments on the Compassion Cremations site. Please take care of yourself. Love, Cheryl
