Clifton "Clift" Delbert Morgan

Clifton (Clift) Delbert Morgan, 69, left this world unexpectedly on December 7, 2024. He was born in Nashville Tennessee on April 3,1955, to the late Buford Mitchell and Dora Morgan.

Clift is survived by his daughter Brittney Peyton Morgan (Brady), two brothers Danny M. Morgan (Theresa) and Donovan G. Morgan (Kelly) as well as nieces and nephews and his beloved dog “Bug”.

Clift grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating from Bellevue High School in 1974 and resided in the West Nashville (Bellevue) area for his entire life. Clift followed in his father’s footsteps beginning a career in the Pipe Fitter’s Local 572 and worked the bulk of his career within the industrial maintenance field, retiring from the United States Tobacco Company in 2016.

Clift was a talented craftsman who loved music, nature, the outdoors, and animals of all types. He had a soft spot for anyone or any animal in need and would often give beyond what he received in return to help those in need. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The family plans an interment on a later date at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life will also be announced at a later date.  Family and friends will be notified via social media and phone or text once a date has been determined.
