Dawn Michelle “Dee” Lundy Waterfield, 55, was a beloved family member and friend. She made her home in Antioch, TN where she passed away on October 28, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love and friendship that will remain cherished by all who knew her.

Dawn was born on August 11, 1970, at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois and grew up in Henderson, KY. She was a 1988 graduate of Henderson County High School. She studied at the University of Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky University. Opportunity relocated her to Nashville where she managed The Jewelers of Las Vegas. Dawn was a talented gemologist and enjoyed designing custom pieces. Later she worked as an office manager for an optometry practice, managed sales accounts, and worked for a finance company.

She is survived by her fur baby, Reggie (who was the center of her world); mother, Rebecca Lundy of Henderson, KY; father, David Lundy of Evansville, IN; brother, Greg Lundy (Lana) of Elizabethtown, KY; nephew, James Lundy (Rachel) of Elkhorn, KY; niece, Nico Lundy of Bowling Green, KY; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William H. and June (Briody) Yunker; paternal grandparents, William Marvin and Mary Louise (Crow) Lundy; uncle, William H. Yunker III; and cousin, William H. Yunker IV.

Arrangements are in process for a celebration of life to be held to honor her memory.

  1. Dee Waterfield lit up the room .. she was a good friend , a hard worker and she touched the heart of so many she met , her family, friends , co-workers , her clients all who loved her

    I worked with Dee a long time and she became a forever friend of whom I’ll cherish her bright light , her love and compassion for others , her pride & confidence in herself and her work

    I often told Dee her true calling is Stand Up Comedy – I told her she needed to go on tour – she would end up famous – her gift of comedy , being so funny she made people laugh , she brought people out of their comfort zone and left you laughing & Smiling !! i’ll never forget our Snap tour across Tennessee.. when Dee first started , I was sent to train with her and then I was asked to stay with her another week to train all the Badcock Furniture Stores – We laughed together , sang together, joked together , we made great memoies and performed some great training ❤️. I’ll also never forget the custom design card Dee‘s mother made for me for the holidays – such meticulous work she is a true artist with lots of talent

    My mind instantly went to her mother and knowing how much Dee loved and cared for her and so many in her life .
