Denice Ann Loftis, known by her family and friends as Susie, passed away on Tuesday, August, 20, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends.

“Susie” is survived by her loving family –  Mother, Jo Ella Loftis; two sisters, Mary Ella Loftis-Holt and Billie Jean Loftis; two brothers, Joe Lawrence Loftis and Bill Loftis. She also leaves behind several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

“Susie” was a generous people person who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.  She enjoyed doing anything outdoors including swimming.  While attending MTSU, she helped people with special needs such as reading to the blind.  She was even on the TV show “What Would You Do” hosted by John Quinones. When everyone else ignored the stranger’s request, she did not and gave him her lunch money for the day.  She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
