Dennis Randall “Randy” Sexton – Age 61, of Bellevue, passed from life unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willoughby Randall “W.R.” Sexton; Beverly Thompson Sexton; his bonus mom, Nellie Ruth Sexton.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Sexton; beloved fur baby, Nellie Mae Sexton; his two sisters, Donna (Ken) Caldwell and Deborah (Roger, Sr.) Sauls; nephew, Roger Sauls, Jr.; his mother-in-law of who he loved dearly, Elaine Jordan; Mrs. Nellie Ruth’s children, Steve Ward and Keith (Debbie) Ward; and a host of extended family members including all of Jackie’s family he adored; his close friends, Kenneth and Sherry Osborne, Trenton and Arianna; along with countless other friends.
Randy was a longtime employee of Nashville Electric Service with over 34 years of service. He was a member of the West Nashville Moose Lodge and a graduate of Hillwood High School, Class of 1981. He enjoyed cooking with the Critter Cookers and spending time with his family and friends. Randy was known for his abundant charity work, especially with children.
A Celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 1PM, at Bellevue Church of Christ, located at 7401 Hwy 70 S, with Darrell Blakenship officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be his nephew, Roger Sauls, Jr., along with his NES friends: Jeff Whitaker, Chris Willis, Brian Drier, Donald Norton, Jason Adkins, and Michael Shannon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials encouraged to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Feed the Children, or Churches of Christ Disaster Relief.
Visitation with the Sexton family will be on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 11AM until 7PM, then again on Tuesday, April 2nd from 9AM until the funeral service at 1PM, all at Bellevue Church of Christ.
Flowers are being accepted after 8AM Monday at the church.

Last time I saw Randy was near the west Nashville sub-station. He was trying to beat the 2010 flood waters from over taking the equipment.
