Derric Jenkins

Derric Jenkins of Ashland City, TN, passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 59.

He was born on October 30, 1966, he was the beloved son of the late D.F. Jenkins and Anita Jenkins and is now reunited with them in eternal peace. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kayla Arana, whose memory he held close.

Derric is survived by his daughters Georgeanna Strange and Gracie Allen.

A man deeply connected to nature; Derric spent his life caring for and nurturing trees — work that reflected who he was at his core. He was known for his charm, his zest for life, and his habit of going barefoot, a small but telling sign of his free-spirited, grounded nature. Derric will be deeply missed. His spirit lives on in the whisper of the trees and the warmth of the sun, a gentle reminder to live with love, joy, and an open heart.

A memorial will be held in his honor at a later date.
