Donald Mark Range, Jr. “Donnie” Age 49, entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of February 7, 2024, at his residence, after a brief illness.

Donnie was born in Tulare, California on December 8, 1974. He was a 1993 graduate of Tulare Union High School. Later in life he moved to Tennessee with his family and truly loved being a Southerner.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis and Dorothy Range and Elsie Willams.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Robbin Range; children, Luke Range, Paige Range, and Kasen Range; his parents, Donald Mark Range Sr. and Carolyn Joann Range; brother, Kevin (Cecilia) Range; his sister, Tammy (Michael) Dye; mother-in-law, Donna Morgan; sisters-in-law, Rita Vanderford, Brenda Jones, Barbara Novak and Tammy Guest; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Donnie’s passion in life was race car driving and competitive handgun shooting. He was a welder for several years and enjoyed walks with his children; later in life he began truck driving which allowed him to see all of God’s beautiful creations. He also enjoyed reading and studying his Bible. He truly loved his family and friends, and his faith was very important to him. He led by example and his wish was that others would see God’s light shining through him.

In lieu of flowers contributions are encouraged to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital or Alive Hospice.

  1. Donnie, it was a pleasure meeting you 3 years ago. I’m glad I had the opportunity. I am honored that, no matter how small a part, you were a part of my life. Thank you. Rest in peace, my friend.

    Raymond Diaz

  2. Donnie, I’m so glad you are pain free and rejoicing in Heaven. It’s not goodbye, it’s I’ll see you in Heaven.

  3. Carolyn and Don,
We are so very sorry for your loss. We offer our prayers for God’s comfort and peace during this most difficult time.
    With our deepest sympathy,
Your Tulare neighbors, Kary & Billy Ingram

  4. Donnie was by far one of the best people you’ll ever meet. It was a privilege to associate with him. I’m sure he’s resting in the arms of loved ones in Heaven.

  5. Chief Range and family, everyone at AFSOC A4I is so sorry to hear about the passing of your brother Donnie. We want to express our deepest condolences to you and the family. “Losing someone so close is a tragedy.” Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

  6. Thank you Donnie for leading me to Christ and salvation back in 92′. Thank you for taking us on that trip to Talladega, AL to see the NASCAR race. Thank you for being a mentor when I tried to drive a racecar, and knowing I had no business doing so. Thank you for always standing on God’s word and providing reverent witness in all that you did. Thank you for showing me strength to being a father, in adversity all us ‘father’s face. Absolute great human and person. Miss you buddy. Prayer of comfort to the entire family and all friends.

  7. I miss you more and more everyday. I love you forever. It is truly a strange feeling with you no longer here, but I do know I have you in my heart.
