Elma Jean Huffines, 83 years old, of Nashville TN, passed away peacefully in her bed surrounded by loved ones on Monday August 12, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She devoted her life to helping and taking care of people including 22 years at Vanderbilt Hospital serving in the NICU. She loved tap dancing, and listening to country music on the grand ole Opry with her husband Vernon. She will forever be missed, but never forgotten.

In addition to her parents, Bazle White and Bertha white, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Vernon Anderson Huffines, her daughter Deborah Jean Holloran/Huffines, and her sister Thelma Gammon.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley McLaren, her niece Sherry Thompson, her grandsons, Matt and Luke Holloran, and Ethan Spain. Her granddaughters Meridee Joyce Holloran and Hollyanne Holloran. Her great grandsons and granddaughter, Ryan, Joe, Jameson , and Ivy Jean Holloran.

The funeral/celebration of life will take place on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the Draper cemetery. The address is Wartrace Highway, Highway 262, Milltown Tennessee USA. Cemetery ID number 11469.
