ELSIE "MARIE" TACKETT March 25, 1938 - September 10, 2022 Marie left this world to be with her Lord and Saviour September 10, 2022. She was born in Oklahoma City the daughter of William A and Anna Richardson who preceded her in death. She was a loving wife beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Deborah Marie Parker, sons Tommy Wayne and Kevin Lee Tackett as well has Mitzi Glassen (who she loved as a daughter), daughter-in-law Rose A. Tackett and son-in-law David E. Parker. She was predeceased by by her husband Tom L. Tackett, son Cecil A. "Skip" Tackett, daughter Lorrie Renae Tackett and daughter-in-law Debra Kay Tackett. Marie opened with her husband their family business Tom Tackett's Westchester Upholstery in 1962 and retired 1992 in Bakersfield, CA. She was a deacon's wife and Sunday School teacher for many years. Her greatest joy was as a grandmother and Gigi to all children. She loved cooking and spending with all their family She believed in the power of prayer and prayed nonstop for everyone. Services for the family were held on October 1, 2022.

Wow it’s hard to believe it has been 42 years that you have been in my life you were just like my own mother I came to you with troubles I talk to you about things you came to visit when I moved to Nevada you treated my kids as if they were your grandkids and that is something I will never forget I love you dearly and I will see you again syou again soon love Roxanne
Marie was a dear friend to bothe Wayne and I and a dear sister in Christ. She will be greatly missed. It was an honor and privilege to have known Marie and her family and to have served the Lord with her and Tom and the entire family. God bless you all and I know Marie is rejoicing in the presence of Jesus. Blessings to you all Judy Holland and family.
