Eugenia Lynn Dowdy Pryor

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Eugenia (Gina) Lynn Dowdy Pryor of Gallatin, TN, on June 15, 2026. She was born in St. Louis, MO, on April 5, 1958, to James Clyde Dowdy, and Eileen Genevieve Boner Dowdy Spalding.

Gina was was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for the fierce love she had for her family, frequent chats on the phone, and generous heart. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Raymond Melvin Dowdy, Tina Marie Dowdy Reece, Calvin Rickey Spalding, daughter Brandi Lynn Dowdy Pratt, and husband Dwight Pryor. She is survived by siblings James Clyde Dowdy Jr., Charles Wesley Dowdy, Patricia Ann Dowdy, Kenneth Wayne Dowdy (Sharman), Edward Eugene Spalding, Harry Earnest Spalding (Lynn), son Phillip Wayne Dowdy (Trish), grandchildren Zachary Dowdy, Ashley Pratt, Austin Pratt, and great grandchildren Levi, Caleb, Noah and Gabriel.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those who wish to support the family may share a favorite memory or kindness in Gina’s name.
