Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I have countless fond memories of Gail and being her honorary kid on family trips to Hilton Head. Our day trips to Savanna, our amazing conversations over white wine in their hot tub, her teaching Suz & I how to cook shrimp. Her Christmas trees and holiday parties…. I always admired Gail and her zest for enjoying life. Cheers to Gail, she will be sorely missed.

  2. I met Gail on the golf course. Her simple, pure swing out drove and out played me many times. But I came to know her best when our golf group started meeting for BIble Study. She talked about her faith with quiet confidence. I’ll always remember how she related to us that during one of the most difficult times, when she was dealing with pain and thinking she was going to die, she told us she felt a calm peace about it. That will always be a sweet example to me to be at peace in all circumstances because I know I belong to Jesus. Thank you Gail. I’ll miss you. Cindy Chalfant

  3. I remember meeting Gail on the golf course when we first arrived at Colleton River. We continued to play and the more I played with Gail the more I realized she lived life like her game of golf. Gail’s game was confident, strong and steady. Frustrations would be tackled with a level head and great recovery. Ready to take the hole on. And finished each game with appreciation of the game and the friends she enjoyed being with. I am blessed to have known such a beautiful woman. Kathy Clancey

  4. Gail didn’t always have it easy growing up, but it made her her a strong, self-confident woman. She had a heart of gold, a caring spirit and a strong love of family and friends. Gail would always be there for you no matter what the need. May you rest in peace my dear cousin. You will always be in our hearts.

  5. Gail was very gracious and a very lovely lady who made people feel welcome in her presence. She was a wonderful hostess and adored children and her family. Toni Fletcher-Payne.

  6. Gail and I had a rocky relationship when we first entered each other’s lives many years ago, but as time went on she became a mother figure to me as well as a great friend. We talked daily – about anything and everything and spent a lot of time together. My heart is broken and will never be the same.

  7. I have countless fond memories of Gail and being her honorary kid on family trips to Hilton Head. Day trips to Savanna, white wine and the best conversations in their hot tub and her teaching Suz & I how to make shrimp. Her Christmas trees and family gatherings… I always admired Gail and her zest for enjoying life. Cheers to Gail and she will be sorely missed.

  8. I first met Gail when the entire Viceconti family was invited to meet her and see The new home she and Richard would share in Franklin Lakes. Gail gave us the tour thru the home and when we got to the master bedroom we marveled at the collection of animal trophies. Gail pointed out a lion’s head mounted on the wall. “It killed my husband, and I killed it “ she said . From that moment on I was in awe of Gail. Years later she and Richard spent a few days with us at our summer home and we came to know what a truly warm, funny, intelligent , beautiful , strong and generous person she was. I hope her family will keep her awesomeness in their hearts

  9. The first time I met Gail, we were playing golf at the Links of Kahite in Tellico Village. Here came this wisp of a little blonde lady wearing golf shoes that looked like ballet flats. She proceeded to impress us with her golfing ability and easygoing personality, quickly winning everyone’s admiration and affection. We have shared many laughs, tears and our faith in God’s love and promises over the past few years. I am deeply saddened by her passing from this life, but am looking forward to seeing her in eternity.
