Gary Wayne Johnson

Gary W. Johnson- Age 51, of Nashville, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 8PM, at Skyline Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his dad, William “Bill” Johnson; his wife, Faye Nannie Johnson; stepson, Jerry Nannie; sister-in-law, Sale Armes; brothers in law, Dale and Benny Nannie, and his granddaughter, Aria Grace Still.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Lee Johnson; children, Kristin Sutton (Brooklen, Jace, Rileigh, Lilith) Justin Nannie and Britneigh Nannie; sister, Michelle Johnson-Nannie (Alissa, Dale Jr., Shanna, Gracie)

Gary worked in asphalt for many years. His favorite colors were Blue & Red. He loved classic rock music, the Dallas Cowboys, WWE wrestling, NASCAR, pawn stars and storage wars. Gary loved God and his family more than anything else and he will always be remembered for his contagious laughter, humor and as a man who did everything he could to show his love, care & compassion for those he was close to.

The Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Western Hill Church, 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Western Hills Church.
