Graham Davis Ritchie of Nashville, TN, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on May 3, 2026 at the age of 38. He was known for his intelligence and fun facts about a variety of topics, his strongly held convictions, and his playful sense of humor.
Graham was most at ease on two wheels, often found “slaying the dragon” at the Tail and Back of the Dragon and loved riding the “twisties” on the roads of rural Tennessee. Not one to back away from a good cause, he regularly rode his various Triumph motorcycles, most recently his prized Tiger 1200, in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride where he donned tweed, polished boots, and an occasional sequined sport coat to raise awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer.
Though he loved to travel, his favorite trips being to the Caribbean, to Hawaii with his extended family, and to Disney World, Graham’s heart was anchored in his home and faith. A former boy scout and altar server, he returned to those roots as an adult, rejoining the Catholic Church with his wife and daughters as well as guiding both of his daughters through their years as girl scouts.
Graham was a master of the smoker, a die-hard San Jose Sharks and Nashville Predators fan, and the king of tongue-in-cheek Halloween costumes. He loved to bring people together, whether for an interesting motorcycle ride, a board game night, or an elaborate prank. Graham possessed a discerning palate for life’s culinary delights, finding equal joy in a glass of premium whiskey, a perfectly prepared medium-rare Wagyu steak, or the simple pleasure of an In-N-Out Burger.
While he built a meaningful career in technology, where he was a devoted engineer and a generous mentor, the job he most cherished was that of a father and a husband. He and Caitlin met at the young age of 18, sharing a love rooted in a deep friendship and a mutual passion for video games, Sci-Fi, and hours of intellectual debate. He was incredibly proud of his daughters, with Zelda’s success in school, starring in school plays and being voted onto her student council and Isabella’s upcoming graduation and acceptance into college with aspirations to become a Psychologist.
Graham is now reunited with those who preceded him in death, his brother Taylor, his grandparents Pop, Grandy, and Ann, and his beloved Great Dane Bruce Wayne.
Graham is survived by his wife, Caitlin; his daughters, Isabella and Zelda; his parents, Kelly Lang and Proctor Ritchie; his sister Hannah Quinsey (Jonathan); and his nieces, Beatrice and Valentine as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
