Hunter took his first flight with me at 12 years old. We flew into Dallas airport Christmas Eve and it had been snowing, so we were stuck on the plane while they cleared our spot for debarking. He was antsy and kept poking me and asking when we could get off. I threatened him with shoving him out the window when a stewardess stopped and asked him if he would like to go into the cabin with the pilots. He cheered and went with her… stayed up front with the pilots for about a half hour. Came out all smiles – he had earned his wings.
Hunter was an amazing friend! One I am honored to call true! We had a blast swimming in Lake Michigan love you bro!
Jim and Tammy, We are so very sorry for your loss. We remember Hunter well as a baby and child but hadn’t seen him in quite some time. He was so cute then and knew he brought you so much joy. We can’t imagine How hard this must be. Praying for you as you grieve this monumental loss of your dear son. With Sympathy, Bryan and Tammy Matthews

A Memorial Tree was planted in memory of Hunter James FulkersonI will always remember Hunter as a very kind, nice young man. I had the privilege of being his 5th grade teacher. I had several boys that year who were learning to play drums with Jim Fulkerson, Hunter’s father. And play they did! Most Fridays, before I dismissed the class, the boys would take turns clapping out a rhythm on their desks. We’d clap it back the best we could. It wasn’t long before we caught on, and they’d make it even more challenging. It was loud, fun and a perfect way to end our week. I also had the privilege of teaching Paige and Ella., two really nice ladies. The Fulkerson’s will always have a special place in my heart. Tammy, I will always remember our time together and being invited to your home for lunch. Teachers are truly blessed to spend time with so many chi!dren. I believe Hunter is with our Heavenly Father. 💙🙏🏼💙
Rest in peace Hunter.

A Memorial Tree was planted in memory of Hunter James FulkersonHunter Fulkerson was a leader and valued member of the Tennessee Tower Services family. Hunter joined our organization on September 28, 2021, at the age of 25. He was hired as a Top Hand and quickly became an indispensable asset to our team. He was instrumental in setting the standard for work ethnic and integrity. His transition to Foreman was seamless and natural. His uncanny ability to train and lead at the same time is what truly separated him from his peers. Hunter was also known for his outgoing and free spirit to try anything that sounded like an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was a mentor to many of his TNTS teammates. He had a positive impact on the workplace culture, and his infectious smile and sense humor will be remembered by all who knew him. Hunter’s legacy within our organization will be felt for many years to come. We express our deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. Hunter, we love you, we miss you, we will never forget, and your tower family will always have your spot saved! TNTS Family
For Tony and I, our first meeting with Hunter was when we took him down to Kentucky to work 2017. He came down to work and stayed with us at our daughters house. He was so full of life, eyes wides opened to any experience that was headed his way. “Basically a deer in head lights!” He said he had never left Michigan before and it was a new adventure. Man did he shine! He was so appreciative, mild mannered, respectful. His family certainly did things right there. He was a hard worker, full of smiles, energy, laughs, and a work ethic that most people should emulate! Employers should make a handbook on it. As we continued to get to know him, he continued to say how grateful he was and that we taught him things. He was just so thankful that he was allowed to come down and given a chance. As his eyes opened to new adventures and new ways to think of life, he was was grateful and appreciative, but thinking back now, he truly opened ours. We will cherish the memories and miss him greatly. We are thankful to have him in our lives and carry him throughout our lives. When in doubt, act like Hunter and go for it! Treat others kindly, smile loudly, work hard, and be thankful for each day. Hug babies, animals, and always root for the underdog. Cheers, our friend! God bless you all. 🥂✌️❤️❤️
I have many memories of Hunter, but one that seems most fitting is when he was at our house for a birthday celebration. He was quite young. While I was talking to my brother (Hunter’s dad), Hunter was climbing up one side of my brother and down the other and sliding across the top of my davenport. He was having a blast. I knew he was going to be quite the climber, and his job at Tennessee Towers later in his life sure proved that. We loved you, Hunter. You will be deeply missed. Fly high with our Eddie and we will see you when we get there. Aunt Jean and Uncle Al.
Love ya buddy
Miss you
