Jack L. Jakobik, Sr.

Jack L. Jakobik, Sr. – Age 74, of Nashville, passed from this life on Friday, August 19, 2022, at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lillian Jakobik. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janice Carter Jakobik; his two sons, Jack Jakobik, Jr. (Gina) and Erik Jakobik; grandsons, Evan Jakobik and Jack Henry Jakobik; his brother, Richard Jakobik. Jack was a 1970 graduate of Vanderbilt University where he played football. Up until his passing, he worked in the Transportation Management Department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 11AM, at Charlotte Road Baptist Church (7511 Charlotte Pike) with Pastor Joe Frejosky officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 10AM until the service time at 11AM, all at Charlotte Road Baptist Church.
