James "Jim" E. Wieneke

James “Jim” E. Wieneke, 80, of Madison, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2023. He was born in Alton, Illinois on June 4, 1943, to the late Martha Helen Allen and the late Otto E. Wieneke, Sr.
Jim enjoyed playing the game of Pool, watching football and westerns, sitting on his balcony relaxing and watching the sunsets and working on his 1978 Firebird Trans Am. He loved music and dancing. He was an amazing artist. His interests, skills and talents were diversified including winning competition trophies for swimming and boxing at the YMCA.
Jim “Winky” was a 4-year United States Navy Veteran from 1961 – 1965. He competed and won boxing trophies for his ship.
He had his own way of making you feel special. You could always count on a “Howdy, Howdy” when he saw you. If you ever needed help or advice to fix something, he was the person to call.
His Pride and Joy were his children and grandchildren. Jim is survived by his three children, Kim A. Burke (Bill) of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Dawn Marie Berio (Philip) of Middleboro, MA, Jimmy Wieneke (Scott Russo) of Ship Bottom, NJ. His three grandchildren, Sydney Marie Burke of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Hayden Ethan and Dylan James Berio of Middleboro, MA, his dear sister Judy Bott of Phoenix, AZ., his nephew Greg Bott (LuAnn) of Phoenix, AZ., and his great-nephew Jason. He was preceded in death by his former wife Veronica A. McGowan.
Jim will be fondly remembered and lovingly missed by his family and friends.
