Jayden Michael Metcalf “Chunky Monkey” age 15, passed away suddenly October 31, 2024, in Nashville, TN.

Jayden’s enthusiasm for music energized those around him.  Family was his top priority.  His dedication as a big brother inspired admiration for all who knew him.  Sharing moments with his girlfriend brought him great delight. With his extraordinary heart, beautiful smile, sense of humor and a protective nature, Jayden created many cherished memories that will last a life time with all who knew and loved him.

Jayden is preceded in death by his great- grandfather, Kenneth Light; great- grandmother, Nora Metcalf and cousin, Searia Shell.

Survived by his loving mother, Tabitha Ward; grandmother, Toby Ward, great-grandmother, Loretta Light; brothers, Tony Metcalf, Daniel Metcalf, John Payne, Jr.; sisters, Elizabeth Ward, Gemini Ward, Trinity Payne; uncles Jonathan Ward (Destiny Williams), Justin Ward; great-uncles, James Shell, Tony Ward; cousin, Kara Shell (Andrew Bonds), and partner, Braelyn Hardin; father, Tommy Metcalf & step-father, John Payne.  Also survived by his dad, Tommy Metcalf and step-dad John Payne.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Western Hills Church, 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 with David Estes officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Western Hills Church.
