*****CHANGE OF VENUE ANNOUNCEMENT***** Please note that due to scheduling conflicts beyond our control, the visitation and funeral for Mr. Vick will now be held at Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, located at 6833 Old Charlotte Road in West Nashville. In Loving Memory: Jeffrey Dwayne Vick September 13, 1961 – June 12, 2023 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeff Vick, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend. He touched the lives of many and leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. Jeff was born on September 13, 1961, in Nashville, Tennessee, and departed from this world on June 12, 2023, in Gallup, New Mexico. Growing up off Charlotte Avenue in Nashville, Jeff embodied a positive attitude and fun-loving spirit. He was a beacon of kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His jovial nature, athletic pursuits, and radiant smile made him a cherished presence in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. Jeff was a proud alumnus of Cohn High School, where he cultivated lifelong friendships and laid the foundation for his future endeavors. After graduating, he embarked on a remarkable journey with Xerox, dedicating an incredible 39 years of service to the company. As a dedicated employee, he exhibited unwavering commitment, leaving an indelible mark on his colleagues. After a long and fruitful career, Jeff embraced a well-deserved retirement last year, planning to enjoy the fruits of his labor. During this time, he reveled in the simple pleasures of life, spending quality time with his loved ones and pursuing his passions. Golf was one of his greatest joys, and he could often be found on the green, honing his skills and enjoying the camaraderie of the sport. Jeff is survived by his loving children, Eric and Amber, who were the light of his life. His unwavering love, guidance, and support shaped them into the remarkable individuals they are today. He was a proud and devoted father, always there to cheer them on during their triumphs and encourage their pursuits. His mother, Wanda, and stepfather, Don, held a special place in Jeff's heart. Their unwavering love and encouragement were instrumental in shaping the man he became. He shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, Vickie, and their adventures together created treasured memories that will forever be cherished, many of which were joined by his brother-in-law Les. In addition to his immediate family, Jeff leaves behind his ex-wife, Mylinda, who shared many meaningful moments and memories with him. Though their paths diverged, they maintained a respectful friendship. Jeff also leaves behind a vast network of cherished family and friends who were touched by his kindness and zest for life. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we bid farewell to Jeff, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives. Whether it was on the golf course or in the company of loved ones, his passion for life shone through. May his spirit continue to inspire us, and may his memory serve as a reminder of the importance of love, compassion, cherished connections, and the pursuit of our passions. We find solace in knowing that his legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the indelible mark he left on this world. Rest in peace, Jeff. You will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 11AM until 1PM. • Uncle Jeff thank you for playing water volleyball at your condo, your awesome fireworks display on the 4th of July and teaching me fish like goldfish in the pond behind your house, thanks for having my family at your pool parties and Easter egg hunts, thanks for taking me to the Vanderbilt-UT game and talking titans. You were a great Uncle and will be missed. Love Dust and Family

    • Melinda, Eric and Amber… so sorry to hear about Jeff’s passing. What a beautifully written tribute to your dad. Reading it brought me right back to Moss Creek Court and how much I enjoyed living next door. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care. JoAnne Goldstein

  1. I’ve spent the past few days doing paperwork and trying to understand the logistics of a situation like this. It has been very serious. But he was not a very serious guy as many of you know. He loved to have fun and live his life. So here are some pictures of him doing just that (please ignore the awkward phases of my personal development) and one picture I took of him taking a picture being an obnoxious teenager. 🙂

  5. When Jeff would come to Chattanooga to work on our Xerox machines we developed a friendship. He was always smiling and doing something goofy to make me laugh. I will cherish all my memories of him and will be praying for the family. RIP Amy dear friend. Hope Bowman BCBST of Chattanooga.

  6. Jeff went with me on a mission trip to Belize just a few years ago. I remember we went to the Belize prison and worked with the inmates and how they responded so joyfully to Jeff’s kindness and humility. It was my favorite memory of my time with Jeff . He was a good man with a very caring heart . That was my friend. I will miss his laughter and smile. But I know I will see him again and he is Home.

  7. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Eric, Amber, and Mylinda and may you be comforted during this difficult time. Love, Elsa and Jim

  10. I was privileged to work with Jeff across five or six states for about fifteen years; our jobs were complimentary, so we were often on the same projects. He wore hats of leadership, knowledge and competence, but always found time to share those with others. He loved and was proud of his family, dogs, golf, and classic rock. I became better at what I do because of knowing him. See you on the other side, Jeff.

  11. I worked for Xerox in Nashville up until 2010 and though on a different team knew Jeff and always appreciated his wit and sense of humor. He was a good guy and I’ll always remember his smile which made me think he was always up to something. I offer my sincere condolences to all his family .
