Jerry Alexander Reason (Alex), Age 28, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Alex was a generous and kindhearted man. He always had the biggest and brightest smile. He was always ready to help anyone in need. He was a true family man who loved his son, Momma and his family. There was never a moment he couldn’t make you smile. He always had a smile on his face. He loved unconditionally with the heart of gold he possessed. He got his kindness and soft heart from his daddy, papa, and mother. When he loved, he loved hard. He was a great protector and loved his son to the moon and back. Alex will be forever missed with his goofy ways, his jokes, his dancing, his laughter, his smile, especially his strong will to be a good father (which he was). He was the “bestest” son per his mom, Tracy, you could ever ask for. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for anyone.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Reason and grandparents, Jerry and Connie Reason.
He is survived by his son, Kashdyn Alexander Reason; his lifelong partner, Dana Michelle McCoy; his mother, Tracy Reason; his brother, William Reason, III; grandparents, Ray and Beatrice Ivey; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Western Hills Church, 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37209.The graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, Tennessee 37221.

Alex always had a big smile on his face when i would see him with my son, Andrew, when they came over. He was always very respectful and called me Popa Bear. Never will forget the time he came over and we watched pay for view event one night. May god bless the family and find ease in this event that the lord took.
Peewee, there’s so much I want to say but I just can’t find the words. I spent half my life with you and I never thought this day would come. I love you so much and I will always love you!!! You was my person. Please watch over me and your son at all times. I miss you so much already
