It is with a very heavy heart that we announce that Jimmy Ray Ferguson Jr. "Jimbo" passed away June 9, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee, the place he made home for so many years. Originally from Clover SC, he was born on May 21,1975. He is the oldest of three. He leaves behind his proud parents Jimmy Ray Ferguson Sr and Sharon Mathis Ferguson, two sisters Anita Ferguson Coon (Tom) and Elizabeth Ann Ferguson. Jimbo was a proud uncle to a niece, Hannah Gowan (Alex Mora) and three nephews, Cameron Rowland (Tiffany Thomas), Brian Rowland, Max Lail and one great-niece Lylah Mora. His home away from home was Nashville, Tennessee. He was currently employed with Luigi's City Pizza. He spent many years working in the food industry. He was known for his great Chef and bartending skills that he perfected throughout his career. Along the way he built many friendships that lasted for the last 20 years. He considered his friends his family. He was loved by so many family and friends and he will be missed greatly. Celebration of Life will be held at Haven of Rest Baptist Church, 645 Connolly Rd, York, SC 29745 on July 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm. My prayers go out to the family. Jimmy was a great friend in high school, heck if not for him I would have never passed math or science. He had the brightest smile and the biggest, warmest heart.
There’s a missing piece in my heart that can never be replaced. I will always love my big brother.
