JoAnn Candler Rist, age 75, passed peacefully on October 14, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Roberta Candler; her granddaughter, Jeannie Schulze; son-in-law, Mark Eckstein.

She is survived by her husband, Hardy Rist; her brother, Ronnie Candler; daughters, Kimberly Eckstein, Rachel Lancaster; her son; Jonathan Rist; grandchildren, Hannah Eckstein, Charlie Mahon, Haylee Schulze and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday October 28th from 1:00PM – 3:00PM at White Bluff Church of Christ, 4416 US-70, White Bluff, TN 37187.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, Glaucoma Research Foundation or Troops First Foundation.
